Train your body

People who have gone for Hiking in Rajasthan says that hiking and trekking for beginners come with many physical challenges. For your first trek, start preparing from a 1 or 2 weeks prior. Give your body enough time to prepare for the challenges; it might face during the trek. Go for morning and evening walks, it will prepare your body for walking long distances. Use stairs instead of elevators; go for staircases running to prepare your legs for hiking. Exercises like squats can also help you.
With exercising and walking, make sure you are eating everything right, focus on eating foods full of protein and boost immunity.

Start with the easy trek

If you are going for your first trek or just a beginner, choose the easy treks initially. Do not choose the moderate or tough treks, as you are not used to it, your body and mind are not prepared for it. As an amateur, tougher treks can turn out dangerous for you, gain some experience before going to tougher treks.

Go with someone experienced

Trekking may look easy, but it is not, there are many hidden challenges you may not be aware of as a first-timer. It is advised to go with someone experienced in your initial treks, as they know all the pros and cons.

Research about the location

While going on the trek, do not randomly choose any location. You must be well aware of the location; you are going for a trek. The location you are choosing may be a dangerous place. Ask the locals about the place or take help from the internet, read the reviews before starting.
Ask the locals, if there are any wild animals in that area, or are there in dangerous plants. Also, enquire if the area is safe for tourists or not, or at what time you should return back.

Choose the right season

Choose the right season for your first trek. Rainy season or summer season can ruin your trekking experience. Choose the season which is comfortable and not harsh in any manner. Trekking in the rainy season can become difficult due to the downpour and hailstorms. Summer heat can cause dizziness and dehydration. If you choose to trek during the rainy season, ensure that the weather forecast is favorable. If you are willing to go for trekking during the summer season, ensure that you choose the early morning or evening slot to avoid the heat.

While going for trekking, please ensure that you are packing all the essentials like shoes, first aid kit, extra food, hat, and extra pair of the shirt. Your essentials can change according to the weather.
